Imodium history started in 1999 in Milano, Italy. They started playing indy grunge and recorded some demotapes and singles that put the band into italian alternative music scene. Then they started a serious live activity, that will cover in short time many places of the nation. In 2001 they have been noticed by Decibel Records, a indy label, that produced the first official full-lenght Cd: "Imodium". A rough mixture of seminal punk/grunge and noise/alternative. With this issue the name of the band started to be known in the rest of Italy. Some songs appeared on samplers and on alternative radio. After some troubles, Dave, the drummer, leaves Imodium, been letting the place to Mirko. This is the currently line up of Imodium. In 2003, was presented "Nowhere Ep", 4 tracks Ep. With this Ep in their hands, the combo decide to intensify the rate of their shows. In March 2004 they went at fear studio(one of the best studio in italy) to record a new album, between emo and indierock, that was out only one year later, because of searching new label. So from the first months of 2005 is out "...and so:dodgem songs!" on vacation house records, historical italian label. Italian press is writing very good things about this album, and is starting promotion in all europe! in the last months, we found distribution all around the world and we play intensive tour on europe (18 countryes in 7 months). After 5 european tour Imodium put out the 4th album (october 2007), called "Drive", barnd new 11 songs. Album is out for a DIY coproduction.
